2010 Excel Cell Color Changing

Hello,
I have a spread sheet that has due dates, I want to change color of cells to reflect time due

eg:
time of due date red
5 days before due date yellow
10 days before due date green

Then I have another cell of completed date, once this has been entered I would like for all colors to be removed from previous cell.

Could you please help with this? Thank you

for that you have to use conditional formatting
