Windows 8 - not connected to the internetClosed

Question

Hello, 
  After 5 hours of not being connected to the internet I finally went to SERVICES and noticed about 90% of my services were disabled and stopped - So I started to change from disabled to automatic and from stopped to running they all changed to Automatic, but not to run - Then Defender changed to RUNNING and so did my Firewall then after a few more were changed WINDOWS 8 came back on..............Long morning


Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0
