Using character map in windows 7

Hello,

i am using Open Office Writer and i have two questions :

First : i want to write arabic numbers directly without using menu bar ( insert-->special character ).

Second : i want to create square root in arabic format using character map and i get stuck in a grid of pixels so i do not know from where should i start

but i mentioned that i do not use microsoft word there is an alternative called open office writer thats what i am talking about so this link related to microsoft not open office

This alternate language link is for Windows and not for words. Using the alternate language would allow you to swtich between languages. Hope it works for you
