Restoring SAFELY to factory settings

Hello :)

Please can someone tell me how to very easily SAFELY restore my Toshiba laptop Satellite P775 back to factory settings like brand new?
I have saved all my data I need and was told to restore it back to factory settings to resolve the "glitch" problem. However I'm not sure which way is safest, there is more then 1way apparently?? Could somebody please advise me??

Maybe I should mention that it runs on Windows 7 and I don't think I have the disk any longer.
