Windows 8 installation failed on Lenovo U550

A couple of days ago, I tried to install Windows 8 on my laptop, but always got "your pc ran into a problem and need to restart......I have a Samsung ssd 840 pro and 8 Gb. ram. Bios is set to AHCI mode. And the funny thing is that installing linux is totally a breeze! Any ideas? Thanks.

try proving another cd of windows 8 yours apparently has problems

Tried different dvd but no way to install windows 8. Even windows xp can't install. Got a bsod. Maybe a bios update could solve this strange behaviour. I really don't know what to do.
