iam using acer aspire E1-431 laptop when i istalled a antivirus software avast ,after restarting the windows said resuming windows and follwed by logging off but it does not turn off or turn on ,what can i do plzz help me,and also i didn't connect the computer for registry editer

i had the same problem when i installed avast in my win -8 system,
there a two ways to solve the above problem.
1.go to registry and disable the avast.
2.remove the avast and use another antivir .
problem solved..
