How to install xp in hp pavilion elite pc m95

Hello,
i have a hp pavilion elite pc m9561me and im trying to install windows xp in preloaded vista system.


can anybody help to find out the windows xp compatible drivers for this system and the procedure to install xp and formatting vista from the computer.

Hi,
1. First u know about your(HDD) system information which os is supporting your system.(some time HDD is not supporting xp) based on HDD type at a time any one windows OS only u install.

procedure

After u boot windows xp cd/dvd create partition like this c:,d:and e:
now u install your win-xp in C:/ drive.

after u boot vista dvd after loading file press Esc key now u see all drive , select d: or e: (don't disturb c:), like this u select d: now vista is installing your system, after you start your system now 2 menu is display like this
microsoft windows xp and microsoft vista ................. u login any one os

u want run both os at a time install microsoft virtual pc ..........

hi raja...thanks for the reply.......i have vista already installed in my computer...in c drive...now i have created a partition using disk management...when i am trying to install winxp, it is initializing the loading process..but just before the partition selection menu i am getting a blue screen with some technical information that...ur computer might have infected with virus or bcoz or any hardware which is recently installed.....i hope u got my point...


now i want to remove vista from my computer and install xp.......


if so....where can i get the compatible motherboard drivers for my system...

By using your cd-rom i guess!!! :P

i know what your problem, you try to install xp in ahci but xp didn't recognize ahci driver because not loaded in installer. use nlite to add ahci driver to xp and burn into new cd. now you can install xp in ahci system.
