I am using a modem and my firewall is blocking my incoming connections, Please do i need to close firewall to be able to download and allow incoming connections on Bit-torrent?

I strongly recommend against any torrent usage, because all the efforts you are making opening your network to torrent sites also makes you vulnerable to attack. Also, the torrent files you download this way are almost guaranteed to be infected all on their own.
