How to delete OLD messages in Hotmail ???

I have used the same Hotmail account for 20 years.

I have so many pages of messages, it will not "search", nor can I "sort" from descending to ascending order so I can delete the oldest ones.

Any ideas to get back to the "first" ones and start deleting, (I don't want to delete all because I obviously need my newer ones) ???

Hi,

I don't remember the hotmail (outlook.com?) user interface: have you a button with a double arrow, allowing you to jump to the first/last page?

I have used the same Hotmail account for 20 years.

Wow...first user? ;)
