I have aNE56R41U. Everytime I turn it on, and enter my password, it goes to the home screen, which just flashes off and on. I have turned it off and on, keep hitting F8 and holding down the ALT while hitting F10 but it still just goes to the flashing home screen. I don't get anything to recover our anything. I want to fully recover my laptop. But HOW? Please help!!!

Have you tried booting in safe mode?

I was told to turn it on, when the gateway name came on, keep hitting F8. I did and it went to my logon screen. When I log on it brings up my desktop and then it just starts flashing. Can't open anything or do anything. Then I was told to try holding down the alt key and to hit the F10. That hasn't worked either. What else can I do?

The only option left is to use a recovery CD
