Hi Amasenje,
Are you trying to format the drive from Disk Management? Try right clicking the drive and selecting format. If the message keeps coming, open the Command Prompt and type the command:
Diskpart
List disk
Select disk n (n must be the drive’s letter)
Clean
Open Disk Management and try to format again. Is it possible to format now?
