How to remove os from hard drive

Hello,
Pleasae help me i have double window xp on my pc and i want to format my HDD first i tried to format its partition through DOS but could't get success,so please help me how to format my hard drive completly with its all partitions

hi,
you need to use the Windows Installation CD to be able to format the hard disk completely.
