Mextures is an application that you can use to apply various filters, such as dust, grain, different textures, and more on photos and transform them into beautiful and artistic images. The changes are applied by layers so if you want to undo a layer, you can do it instantly and choose a different visual effect.
What are the key features of Mextures?
- More than 150 filters: Mextures has over 150 textures, such as dusty film scans, grunge, artifacts, light leaks and so many more. You can choose the one that you like or apply multiple layers of filters using a blending mode.
- Opacity level: you can adjust the strength of each effect by changing its opacity.
- Editing tools and presets: all classic editing tools and filters, such as Exposure, Contrast, Tint, White Balance, Fade, Black and White, Highlights/Shadows, Sharpness, and Saturation are also included. Moreover, the app allows you to use 30 various presets.
- Share formulas: if you have found a perfect combination of filters and layers, you can save the formula and use it later. Moreover, you can share it with other users as well as use other Mextures users' formulas for your pictures.
How does Mextures work?
As with many other photo editing apps to use Mextures you simply need to import your photo into the app’s photo library and choose the effects you’d like to apply. Don’t worry if you added an extra layer, you can always delete a layer and undo any action that you are not sure about.
