Is Figma free?

The Starter subscription of Figma is a free-to-use plan that allows you to work on a maximum of 3 Figma and 3 FigJam files simultaneously. Figma Professional sets you back $15 per month or $12 per month when billed annually. There is also an Organizational plan, which costs $45 per editor monthly.

Is Adobe XD better than Figma?

First, Figma offers more cloud space by default, as Adobe XD's Starter plan allows for one shared file and 2 GB of storage, while this is unlimited with Figma. Also, collaboration is less effective with Adobe XD because you design in one place but share in another, comments are in a separate experience, and changes from different co-editors need to be merged manually. On the other hand, Figma is web-based, so your design file is a simple web link and a unique collaborative space for your team.
