Diablo III (also Diablo 3) is a hack-and-slash action role-playing video game, the third opus of the series developed by Blizzard Entertainment. Plot

A group of heroes managed to defeat a good part of the evil forces that were ready to take over the world in Diablo I and Diablo II. Now, the Lesser Evils of the Burning Hells are lurking, as they do not assume their defeat and want to attack again. Can you protect the world of Sanctuary?

Gameplay

Diablo 3 characters: All of them come with different abilities, skills, and aesthetics. The classes are Barbarian, Witch Doctor, Wizard, Monk, Demon Hunter, Necromancer, and Crusader (the last two being expansion classes).
Level up: As you progress through the game, your character will level up. Note that the Wizard and the Crusader are the most difficult to level up.
Skill Runes: Formerly known as Runestone, they will allow you to improve and modify your abilities and powers (parameters such as damage, precision, speed, and more). They provide five different functions for every skill.
Craftsmen: As you rescue characters, some of them will join you and help you in managing materials and fighting demons.
Enemies: The location of the beasts is randomly generated and will be different in each game.
The map: The map consists of two main continents, with several regions and islands.

Duration and game modes

Diablo III gives the option to live the adventure alone or in multiplayer mode for up to 4 players. Depending on the type on the Diablo 3 classes, the game experience will vary:

Barbarian: Strength-based character that is very skilled when it comes to combats.
Witch Doctor: This character can summon monsters and cast curses.
Wizard: The sorcerer can use magic at their convenience.
Monk: Perfect for close combat, very skilled in martial arts.
Demon Hunter: This character is perfect for ranged attack.
Crusader: The Crusader has great defense skills.
Necromancer: They can reanimate the dead and curse their enemies.

Excluding the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer extensions, Diablo III's main story has an average length of 18 hours. It also includes the so-called Hardcore mode, in which death is permanent and, therefore, our characters can’t be resurrected..

Age rating

Diablo III has been classified with the PEGI 16 label. There is no extreme violence but there are fights between fantasy characters and humans, resulting in visible corpses. Screams and cuts are heard during the battle.

Diablo 3 is not free and can be purchased for $19.99. The Eternal Edition that includes the two extensions costs $39.99.
