Baldur's Gate 3 is a role-playing video game (RPG) that is out in early access. It is the sequel to Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, developed by Larian Studios, the studio behind the Divinity series. The game follows the rules from the fifth edition of Dungeons & Dragons and will make your travel through the Forgotten Realms.

Gameplay

What can we expect Baldur’s Gate 3? The main story should last around 20 hours that doubles if you want to finish all the side quests. You can play one of the available characters or create your own character from scratch, during early access.

The Setting: In this episode, the protagonist is captured by mind flayers and is implanted with an illithid tadpole. This parasite is transforming them into a mind flayer as well, and their powers are also increasing because of it. Baldur’s Gate 3 takes place around 1 century after the events that took place in the last episode and the protagonist is on a mission to seek a cleric who can heal their infection. Gather with your peers to win and to change the fate of Faerûn. Don't forget that your enemies are powerful and continue to enslave and control everyone on their way.

Character creator: The developers offer a very powerful editor, as equally good as the game. Enjoy and unleash your imagination with the creation of the characters with demons’ eyes, horns, tails, and sharp teeth. There is a class for everyone - and to make things even better, there are different subclasses.
Classes: There are seven available classes - Cleric, Fighter, Ranger, Rogue, Cleric, Druid or Warlock. However, that’s not all. The lead systems designer stated in an AMA that “all classes from 5e Player’s Handbook (editor’s note: Dungeons & Dragons) will be included at launch”. Those classes can be found on the Internet.
