Hello,
i have a 250 hard drive i was using in my laptop(SATA) and i removed it and put it in my desktop and all i get is sound i dont know what to do i have triad all the cables i have but its not working pls help me

If you put that HD back into the laptop, does the HD still work there?

Firstly, I would say it’s not a good idea to use the laptop’s drive into the desktop. Also, I suggest you to check the drive again by inserting it back to the laptop as it might be possible that the drive is damaged.
