Hello, I had a box pop up and microsoft in background said comp. was infected call a phone # or they lock computer , called tech said I had a network hack and it would be min. of 500.00 to fix . everything is running good except 2 beeps on start up. Does this sound true or wouldn't I have more problems?

you have a malware program that gave you a bogus error message.

DO NOT send anyone the money.
