Lenovo laptop does not show Samsung hard drive

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me.

A while ago my internal hard drive (Lenovo laptop) crashed and a guy replaced it for me. The laptop works fine, except that it doesnt pick up my external hard drive. When I plug the hard drive in its light comes on but nothing happens or shows on the laptop.

Does anyone have advice please?

It appears that the USB Storage driver was not installed. You should go to the Lenovo support site and download an install the hardware drivers for you model.
