In the middle of a facebook reply I lost all contacts etc. I have not been able to get back into my account despite numerous attemps. I have complied with all the requests but cannot give a different mobile number at every request as I only have the one. I rely on fb for contact with my groups at metal detecting.....from four years standing. Please can you help?

I have to go through all the procedures ... from create an account, give all my details, give a phone number (which after twenty + attempts to log in is no longer valid) When I could use my phone number I would then be given a security number which I would enter. That always always resulted in a message "Thank you unfortunately.....check id's.....we will get back to you". Not once in over a month have I received a reply.

the message is- "Thank you. Unfortunately you cannot log in......we will get back to you."

Nearly five weeks later and numerous attempts to contact someone I still have no reply.

No, not just dots. I can't get that message up now. Iseem to have a new one which goes - Use a phone to verify your account.
I have entered the only phone number I have and I am now getting the response - that phone number has been used to verify a different account.

Well yes of course it has it was used for my original account why can't anyone a facebook understand that? I can't afford to just buy mobile phones to please facebook as I am sure a lot of people can't.

We are getting closer to the source of the problem.

You said that you used your phone for your original account. Am I correct to presume that you have two accounts?

When you created your account, have you used your full real name?

Is you Facebook page online now for everyone to see?

No I used a made up name. I was under the impression that this was acceptable. If not, then I can only apologise yet I used it for more than a year. My own name wasn't used as I am ex civil service and did not want all and sundry to contact me. I was new to facebook and didn't really understand the privacy policies.
I don't know if my fb page is online still as I can't access it at all.

Hi

There is no need to apologize to us, we have no business with Facebook.

Even if you apologize to Facebook they will not enable your account.

Facebook disables accounts that don't follow the Facebook Terms of use and community standards.

Some examples include:
• Posting content that doesn't follow the Facebook Terms
Using a fake name or not using your full real name.
• Creating two accounts.
Impersonating someone

Sorry
