Wireless

Hello,
I got my computer about a year and a half ago and I've used the wireless every now and then but now it won't turn on. My device manager says it's working, the Fn + F2 isn't doing anything and the switch on the side of the computer is really lose and is doing nothing. Any suggestions?

Who is the manufacturer? If it's HP then you might to read this:
..."HP admitted to the problem with the wifi on these Pavilion models. Apparently, HP posted a BIOS fix in the support forums to this problem, however it is said not to work very well and doesn’t solve the problem for most users. In fact, most users who have had this fixed ended up getting a motherboard replacement or a replacement system. This is a hardware problem, not something that can be fixed with a mere BIOS update."
