External 1tb hdd not detected

my sony extronal 1tb hdd is not detecting...kindly help me

you can try the following:

1. try the disk on another computer
2. try using a different cable
3. see if the disk shows in "Disk Management". If it does then try changing the Disk drive letter

You should try the fixes recommended by him, I believe it will help you out.

Hi.. can you please help me.
My LENOVE UHD F309 USB 3.0 with capacity 1 TB cannot be detected by my laptop. The light does not even blinking.
Does the problem lies with the drive ? Can I save the info inside it ? There are my important things in it.please help......
By the way, I have tried using different USB cable and I've also tried using another computer.But,the problem still the same

Hello,

I downloaded XvideoServiceThief but I do not see evidence that it has downloaded or I do not know how to activate it - I have been trying for the last 2 hours and I getting thoroughly fraustrated - can someone help with clear instructions on either, 1) how to download properly, 2) alternatively how to activate if the download happened properly. The download does not suggest whether it has been successful - please help

System Configuration: Windows / Chrome 57.0.2987.133
