Going inactive on messenger with iPod

How do you go inactive on facebook messenger on a ipod 5th generation. Ive seen all the tutorials on androids and ipads, iphones. But nothing on a IPOD. Please help.

Go to FACEBOOK support, and see what they say! It is their product, they should provide services for you. OH, they don't! Stop using it then. Even the former VP of marketing says that "network" is a hunk of junk, and provides no real services to the community, let alone the world! He won't even let his kids use the platform. Users are nothing but EYEBALLS to them, and if you think you are something else, you are wrong.
