Forgotten Password changed mobile number

Hello
I have forgotten my password to my gmail account and since creating this account, I have changed mobile service providers. If I select verification to my number then it will go to the old number. Please can you assist me. The reason for me needing the password is that I have a new phone and need to set up my gmail account.

When you created the account, did you register an alternate recovery email address or phone number to which you have access to receive a reset code?

When is the last time you successfully accessed your account?
