My friend facebook account was hacked

Please I need help to get a friend facebook account recovered. She was using the account until 3 months ago when it was hacked. the former name of the account is "*********" but the hacker has changed it to "********". My friend cannot access the account because the email and phone number have been changed. Here is the link to the hacked account https://web.facebook.com/********* . I will be glad if the account can be recovered. Thanks

Hi

Even a hacker cannot change an account name, if someone attempts to change an account name, the account will immediately be disabled. I don't think that the account has been hacked.

The account name was changed by the hacker after the he had gained access to the account. He changed the account phone number and email address. When I tried to retrieve the account, the hacker's email address and phone number was shown and since I don't have access to the email address or phone number, there was no way to get the retrieval code. Please there any other thing I can do?

I think anyone that has authorised access to an account can change the account name.

As I said, if the account name was changed, it would have been immediately be disabled.

Only your friend can try to retrieve the account with his computer not you.
