My computer wont turn off after I sign out .

Hello ,
I was using my mom's computer without her knowing and I went to sign out ,and started buffering as if a page is still loading and it has been like that for almost 2 days .help me find a way to fix the computer before my mom finds out .

It sounds like it is taking updates. I wouldn't touch it, but if you must.....
