Cod4 patch 1.7 cannot be installed?

Hello,
i'm having trouble to install the patch 1.7. Actually i've just repiaring my computer, so most of the game need to be installed including my cod. so uninstall and re-install back, it works fine. same goes to patch 1.6. but when I tried to install 1.7, it says that it cannot locate like something in windows temp. and then when I click retry, it says it have uninstalled the patch. but actually it didnt.. so I would like to know the solution to remove/uninstall patch 1.7 or the location.
