I often work on different calculations in Office 2016. But after a serious system crash I was unable to open some of the files that I need for the next report. Error: PowerPoint can not open the type of file represented by all8.ppt. Without these documents, I will have problems.
How to solve this problem?

Hola Cristina,

Do you mean Excel calculations?

Explain the relation between calculations and Power Point.

Did you save a file as: all8.ppt.?

Did you save part of the files before the crash?

To perform a ppt repair tool, follow these steps:
1. Click the Start button.
2. Type “remove programs”
3. Click “Add or remove programs” from the search results.
4. Scroll down to Microsoft Office 2013 and click the Change button.
5. In the box that pops up you can try doing a quick repair (Figure 3).
6. Once the repair operation completes try opening PowerPoint again and see if you run into any issues. If you continue to have issues, consider running the repair again but use the Online repair option.
I hope these tips will give you a solid base to start troubleshooting the most common PowerPoint 2013 errors. Good luck!
