Sims 3 will not playClosed

Hello, 
I recently reinstalled the Sims 3, but whenever I try to play it, my computer gives me an error message saying, 'Unknown Error Occured'. I just downloaded it off of Origin, so I don't know what's going wrong?


System Configuration: Macintosh / Chrome 63.0.3239.108

It will be OK.  Read the complete instruction set before you start.

Un-install it.

Reboot.  Install it from the same download, do not re-load it.  If you do not know where to get it, then go to your downloads folder.  It should be there.  Run it.  If it isn't there, Re-download the installer, this time, saving it instead of RUNNING it.
