Toshiba laptop is on but screen has no display

My laptop was on like an hour ago..and functioning so well but the cursor stopped moving..so i switched it off and when i switched it on again..the screen wont show anything..i have tried the method read in other cases a couple of times but it wont show anything still..please help

Did you try the battery trick? Does the battery come out?

No reason to explain if the battery doesn't come out(netbook!)

Which Netbook ? Acer, Asus or HP. Toshiba does not have a netbook. In my opinion, there is always a way to remove the battery because they were not born with it.
