When I recently got home from a trip, I found that my Dell Laptop had lines on the screen, so I looked at YouTube to see about common repairs. I examined the back of the screen through I hope to be proper separation from the top plastic cover. I found a device that I was instructed to put some rubbing alcohol on to clean it (to get rid of the lines) but I possibly disconnected something.

Anyhow when I attempted to put it back together, the laptop won’t do anything when you press the power button. I have tried to take the battery out and press the power button for 30 seconds and the hook it up to the charging cord (which is the Only light I have - nothing on the laptop and no signs of life) but that didn’t work. I am thinking it is time to take to a professinal at this point?

Help!!!
