Hello all,

I have dismantle my external WD My Book Essential hard disk. But I still can’t even detect my WD My Book Essential in the Device Management. How to retrieve my data from a dead hard disk?

It appears you need a data recovery service to recover your data.

We have no knowledge of any recover method where the drive is not detected.

Any estimation of the recovery service? Is it confirm that my hard disc is not working anymore?
