Hello, I was wondering if anyone would be able to let me know how I might be able to extract the information from this drive. I can hear the disc is not turning anymore so I thought about taking it apart and see if I can get it to spin but I have never done that with a heart this before. If anyone knows any videos or software I might be able to use I would greatly appreciate the help. My entire family’s many years of photos and videos are on here. Thank you
System Configuration: iPhone / Safari 15.2

Hi,
Does your NAS has a second hard drive?
Unfortunately, if the hard drive isn't spinning anymore, this sounds like a hardware issue that only a specialist could repair if you're not comfortable with that. Repairing a hard drive by yourself is risky, as it can make the data unrecoverable at the slightest mistake.
You should send your hard drive to a hard drive repair store to recover your data.
Good luck
