Seagate hard drive files/folders gone

Hello, I had two copies of some folders on my hard drive and I told one folder to transfer into the other and now I have lost information (files, folder, etc). Help!

So you have combined one folder into another one? Which folder disappeared?

Is there any interruption occurred at the time of transferring data?
