Enter, space, and back space not working

I.have.had.this.laptop.for.just.over.a.year.the.other.day.the.enter.space.andbackspace.keys.were.not.working.until.a.while.after.the.computer.booted.up.today.I.opened.it.up.and.after.five.hours.they.still.dont.work.I.already.checked.if.sticky.keys.were.on.and.they.werent.I.keep.having.to.play.only.games.that.dont.use.space(which.are.quite.rare)highlighting.and.using.delete.instead.of.backspace.and.other.assorted.problems.this.is.a.major.issue.because.I.have.school.and.I.need.this.laptop.to.type.papers.with.that.being.said.I.dont.want.to.carry.another.keyboard.with.me.please.help.thanks
