Continue to try to update, and let it do its thing. New installs can take 24 to 48 hours to "settle" in. My machine took 48 hours of just spinning!

I have the same issue. Everything works fine but now for some reason I keep getting the Windows Update error 80244019 .I have tried to follow the steps from this guide https://www.devicetricks.com/windows-update-error-80244019/ and it worked fine

I was also getting Windows update error. But error seems different, i have 0x80072efd update error on Windows 10. I fixed the solution taking online help with solution mentioned on website as i have mentioned below. it helped me fix trouble sooner. You can go through the process. may it help you.
