Are connections a standard audio jack, or USB? Do the headphones work in your phone? If they work in the phone, can you use it for a phone conversation? If you can, it has a microphone, and your PC jack does not have an AUDIO IN slot for your headphones, so it is not making the physical connections!!!

connections are a standard jack
yes they work in my phone
they have a mic on them
they work for phone conversations
