Short beep pause beep beep

hi, my laptop just stopped working and would not turn on with no indications. I have done the following: removed the ram, cpu , bios battery and laptop battery and left it for a week. after reasembly the lts for pwring up, charging came on, with pressing the pwr button it gave a short beep pause beep beep. the pwr button lt stays on and thats all. The screen stays black, the cpu fan stays dead and nothing els. I changed the ram for new ram but still the same. any idea's?
