How to gain access to my Yahoo account

I need to access my Yahoo account however I no longer have the same cell phone number I set the account up with nor do I still have that same phone and I have forgotten my password how do I go around changing my password to my Yahoo account without having to have an account key sent to the old cell phone number that I no longer have????

Unfortunately, if, when you created your account, you have not registered an alternate recovery email address to which you have access to receive an account key, you cannot prove that you are the account's legitimate owner. Hence account recovery is absolutely impossible and there is no way around it.
