When i try to reboot my windows vista pc i get a black screen with no cursor before the windows login page. I tried unplugging and removing battery and hitting F8 after power key without any success. Does anyone have any other solutions? Thank you

This appears to be an OLD laptop. It's probable that the motherboard has failed.
