Webcam Access Violation Problem

Hello everyone,

I am facing a problem that is annoying me so much, whenever i click video the error on the picture comes up. I can take pictures just fine, i can take pictures and videos on facebook chat just fine, but i can't take videos on any camera software, the software i am using gives access violation error and tried other software and when i click video it says check if camera is connected or drive is installed, please help me.

OS : windows 7
PC : laptop packard bell easynote TJ65
camera drive : Camera Chicony 1.7.69.1001 W7x86W7x64 A

Run the software with elevated privileges (Administrator)! Right click the software and run ass administrator. See if that changes things!

I've done that but still gives me that error, also tried to disable firewall, reinstalled the drive, tried other camera softwares, added it to the exceptions, stopped all user services, same problem

Perhaps the software needs to run in compatible mode. Right click and select run in compatible, and select Vista. What OS is the software made for?
