Reboot and select proper boot device

Hello,
Trying to start my gateway desktop. When I turn on, I get this message: Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key. Tried unplugging and just get same message every time:((

Certainly looks like your hard disk is damaged and must be replaced.
