Excell 2007 thinks too much [Closed]

Hello,
How the heck can I prevent this from happening?
My entire office has a problem with this.
Sometimes when entering info into a spread sheet I will click on one cell and it will autimatically selct/highlight multiple cells as well. Sometimes it happens sometimes not. How do I turn off this terribly annoying function???????????

hi,

this may be due to your mouse as well.

try another mouse and see the result.

click the cell properly as sometimes if you move the cursor abit while clicking, you ay get this result.
