Hello,

I'm new to Mac. I bought the retina Macbook Air a couple months ago when it released. I've used Windows for many years, and also have used Linux on and off for several years. On Windows I ran Ccleaner every so often, and made sure that trim was set to run once a week. I also did similar maintenance on Linux with Fstrim and the like. Is there any analogous type maintenance that I should be doing with this macbook air? Does trim just work on its own. I can't find any place to adjust any settings for trim, and I also can't really find much about the subject online.

Thanks

Hello,

Maintenance of your PC or Mac is always suggested to keep it running smoothly. Ccleaner also has a version for Mac, you can download it here.
