Can’t log into old local account after update

Hello,

My Windows didn't update for a while. I did it using a Windows site and downloaded it.

It caused a problem when the PC restarted. I had an older local account logged in. Unfortunately, I don't remember the password of that account. What should I do now?

Is it possible to install Windows 10 via USB which can be downloaded via the official site of the product. I was using Windows 8, and upgraded to Windows 10 for free.

STAY on 10. I had a 24 update cycle when I first installed 10 from 7. Be patient, it will become stable again, be patient and leave it running. AS LONG as the Balls keep moving, it is doing its thing!
