Hi, I have been trying to log into my router but it is not working since yesterday.

I changed the password 2 months back but I am having trouble doing it now. I used to type 192.168.10.1 but it will not work now.

I've also tried the following
192.168.100.1
192.168.1.100

I have the Dlink DIR-816. Please help.

Regards,
Rafael

Run IPCONFIG. Use the GATEWAY address as the address for the router.

You may need to input HTTPS:// not just HTTP:// in order to get a response, as it is SSL portected more than likely!

Have FUN!

I would get the password after doing this? Or would this reset the router?

NO, this does neither, return the password, or resets the router. This only allows you to make a connection into the router. If you have to reset the router, find the SMALL LITTLE hole in the back by the power button, and press a pin into it and hold it in for 30 seconds. That will RESET the router.

Yes, I have already tried it two times. I watched the video on YouTube to reset the router first. However, it is still redirecting me towards the login page where the username and password are not working.

I even tried the default credentials - admin::admin

Yes, I did press the button at the bottom of the router with the pen nip. However, I am still facing the same problem.
