Am not able to receive mail from my Gmail account

Add a new account to your Gmail by not removing the first one. Now opens the account settings and change the account from the recently added & activated account to the previous old account.
Have you sent yourself an email? How do you know you are not receiving them? if you are expecting an email from a service, did you verify that the email address you entered was correct?
