Blank screen

I wanted increasing my screen brightness on my HP laptop, then I mistakenly press the F1 key while holding fn button and my screen went blank.
I have been trying to bring it back but to no avail.
I need help please.

Perhaps the F1 key is an external monitor for your model. Do the same keystroke again.
