There is no way to snatch a mobile number. You relinqueshed it, either on purpose (change in carrier for a new device), or not on purpose (non payment of services)! If you traded in your phone for a new device, you should have insisted on retaining the number. I know, then you would not have qualified for the new device, because the carriers share holders only count new number registrations, not new customers!!! So, you have to look at the cost, which is really less? Paying for the newest and greatest devices, or losing access to all that you hold dear in your digital life????
