Feckin' TV won't work through my PC!!!

Dear Sir

I have a Fujitsu siemans Amilo L series laptop running windows xp, and a samsung flat panel ps42d TV.
Now I have checked all my leads, they are fine, and the tv works fine if i use other laptops, but for some reason this laptop will not work.
I have tried going through all the settings in appearance and themes, and I have checked that all my drivers are in place and working.

I was told that I may need to do a bios switchover? I have plug and play on my laptop but not a multi monitor function.

How can I get this to work? I have movies on my computer I want to watch.

HELP!!!!

Hi Percy.

I have had a fujitsu computer before and I had exactly the same issue trying to get it to work through my Toshiba flat panel.
I tried switching the bios and downloading multiple drivers and nothing seemed to work.
I am sorry I cannot offer much advice because in the end I bought a Sony laptop and that works fine.
